Meet the therapist

Hello, I’m Lily, a pluralistic therapist committed to providing a compassionate, collaborative, and personalised therapy experience. I believe therapy is most effective when it is shaped around your individual needs, preferences, and goals. Drawing on approaches such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), person-centred therapy, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care, I work alongside you to create a supportive space where you feel heard, empowered, and understood throughout your journey.

Why Work With Me?

I offer a warm, flexible, and collaborative approach to therapy that adapts to you. As a pluralistic therapist, I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all model. Instead, we work together to identify what genuinely supports your wellbeing, whether that involves structured CBT tools, reflective person-centred exploration, mindfulness practices, or trauma-informed support.

I am professionally trained, ethically grounded, and committed to creating a safe, respectful environment where you feel comfortable exploring your experiences at your own pace. Through regular check-ins and shared decision-making, we ensure therapy remains meaningful, responsive, and effective for you.

Professional Bio

As a qualified, pluralistic and integrative counsellor, trained at the University of South Wales, I offer a warm and collaborative approach to therapy.

My journey into this work is deeply personal. Having navigated childhood trauma, early marriage, and the challenges of building a new life in a different culture, I understand firsthand how complex and overwhelming life can feel. These experiences have shaped my compassion, my perspective, and my belief in the strength that lies within every person.

As a pluralistic therapist, I recognise that there is no single way to heal. You bring your own story, insight, and expertise about your life. Together, we will explore the therapeutic approaches that best support you, drawing from a range of modalities to create a personalised and meaningful path forward.

At SIP Therapy, I offer a safe, non-judgmental, and culturally sensitive space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions freely. I aim to help you feel empowered, understood, and supported as you connect with your inner resilience and move toward greater serenity and inner peace.

I hold a Master of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Counselling and Therapeutic Practice. I am also a member of the British Psychological Association and adhere to its professional ethical standards and confidentiality requirements. Outside work, I socialise, practise mindfulness, enjoy reading and walking in nature, and value reflective practice alongside ongoing professional development.
